Our mission: To help our student members develop academically, socially and professionally so that they can empower themselves to face any challenge in the workplace.

Our vision: To respond to the needs of our members and our sponsors by organizing activities that connect and enrich to both groups.

Our values: Integrity in all activities. Commitment to all members. Cultural diversity.

MISA was founded in 1988 and has not stopped improving since. Our main audience are all student at the Telfer School of Management and we aim to improve your student experience through our events throughout the year:

  • MISA Montreal Trip: A legendary social event on campus that allows club executives to directly interact with all members and seek out future leaders from the ranks. The party starts on the bus and simply does not end.
  • CSI Tutorials: An activity that helps first-year students at the Telfer School of Management pass their mandatory computer science class.
  • Telfer Business & Technology Conference (TBTC): Our pinnacle event of the year. With a unique spin on the traditional concept, this one-day conference encompasses a number of enriching workshops, a business case competition and a networking event and dinner. This is one event not to miss out on!
  • IT Conference Trips: Two yearly trips to Toronto ensure that our members are informed about the latest trends in the industry. Student members are given the opportunity to attend for a minimal cost.
